West Point is a city in Troup and Harris counties in west-central Georgia, sitting on the Alabama state line along the Chattahoochee River, roughly halfway between Atlanta and Montgomery along Interstate 85. Most of the city lies in Troup County, within the LaGrange micropolitan area, and its population was 3,719 at the 2020 census.
